Issaya Siamese Club to open in Hong Kong

Issaya Siamese Club, a well known Bangkok eatery, opens in Causeway Bay this month.
A soft opening is scheduled for the new venture on Tang Lung St this Friday, with the official launch on August 27.
Issaya Siamese Club Bangkok, the creation of high profile celebrity chef Ian Kittichai, was ranked 39th on the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015.
The 150-seat Hong Kong dining room on the 25th floor of Soundwill Plaza II, has been fitted out with materials imported from Thailand and include heritage design tiles in the open kitchen and bar area and regional antiques. It will also have an outdoor alfresco dining area.
Kittichai has personally recruited and trained kitchen staff at the Hong Kong restaurant to ensure the quality and authenticity of the Bangkok venue is mirrored in Causeway Bay. The menu will be identical, with several exclusive Hong Kong specials added.
Ingredients will flown in from Australia, New Zealand and Thailand – with fresh Thai herbs grown in a garden on site as well.
