Orchard Rd shopping centre Ion Orchard has created a fairground attraction for all things fun in fashion for its Autumn/Winter fashion season.

The Ion Orchard Winter Playhouse runs until October 21 on level 1, featuring three fashion-inspired playrooms.

Customers are invited to “discover their inner child” as they “strut down the runway themed Fashion Proportions room draped in Fall’s favourite colour, teal”.

“The clever installation of swings distorts the depth and perspective of the room, creating a fascinating photography opportunity for shoppers to show off their new buys. You can also experience a what it’s like to be a fashion model in the Fashion Inversion room in a gravity-defying studio set,” the centre says in promotional material.

“Fashioned after a photo studio reminiscent of Singapore’s old playgrounds, this room is an inspiration for photography and fashion enthusiasts alike. If you have ever cherished hopes of becoming a covergirl, now’s the chance. Shoppers get to be cover models of Ion Orchard’s Flair magazine in the Fashion Reflection room.”

The opulently designed room features a fashion atelier, with a wall of fancy gilded photo frames and fashion objects.

Customers need to spend $80 to enjoy two complimentary entries to the optical illuision experience like no other. Tourists can enjoy complimentary admission by presenting their passport and a minimum of three Instagram posts with the hashtag, #IONPlayhouse.
