The new Vivienne Westwood Cafe Harbour City marks the fashion label’s second dining venue internationally.
The first opened to considerable fanfare in Shanghai, China, back in April. Now the exquisite dining experience has been duplicated in Market City in Tsim Sha Tsui.
As with Shanghai, the designer had considerable influence on the design and menu. The walls bear imagery reflecting her life as a British fashion figure.
One of the two areas into which the cafe is split, is decorated with backstage scenes from a fashion show, the other replicates an 18th Century French tea room, complete with chandeliers and paintings.
The tableware includes her signature tartan print, cutlery is engraved with her brand, her logo – formed from chocolate – can be spotted on desserts and Westwood reportedly designed the coffee menu.
The cafe is next to the Vivienne Westwood boutique in the mall, at shop OT305 in Ocean Terminal.
