Superfood smoothies and juice specialist Genie Juicery has opened its second retail outlet in the territory.
Genie was founded by Australian best friends Melanie Barnish and Cara McIlroy who relocated to Hong Kong from the Gold Coast, Queensland.

 
Since 2011, they have built the Genie Juicery brand, expanding it from raw juice to encompass cold pressed raw, living juice, juice cleanses, superfood smoothies and more health products.
The new outlet – dubbed ‘Teeny Genie’ – opened at 45A Hollywood Rd on Tuesday of this week.
The two entrepreneurs had worked together in Hong Kong’s thriving fashion industry for many years, they began to feel the repercussions a busy lifestyle of a Hong Kong city dweller has on the body.

 
“With no suitable detox options available at the time, Genie Juicery was born,” the pair explain on their website.
Certified health coaches from the school of Integrative Nutrition, the pair are working to educate Hong Kong’s health conscious.
The first store opened in IFC Mall in Central, where they sell juices, smoothies, nut mylks, cold brew coffee and raw food.
