DFS Group doubles up in new HKIA Midfield concourse

Luxury travel retailer DFS Group has opened two stores covering more than 5800 sqft (538 sqm) of retail space in the new HKIA Midfield Concourse.
A feature of the stores is a fashion watches and jewellery concept space from Emporio Armani, as well as travel retail’s first-ever Ray-Ban sunglasses shop-in-shop in Asia.

There is also an assortment of luxury merchandise, the stores’ curated product and brand selection offering more than 100 wines and spirits brands as well as Korean beauty products from Laneige and Sulwhasoo.

“As the first point of retail for travellers entering the concourse, we offer a multi-branded, cross-category experience designed for ease of shopping,” says DFS Asia north regional president Benjamin Vuchot.
The concourse opened in December to help address rising traffic levels, and has gradually been adding restaurants, coffee shops and retail outlets.

DFS’ Midfield Concourse stores are designed to cater to as many as 10 million passengers. The group also holds the duty-free concessions for perfume and cosmetics, liquor and tobacco, and airside general merchandise at HKIA.
