Taubman Asia, Studio City launch magazine
US mall subsidiary Taubman Asia and entertainment and leisure resort Studio City have launched a digital publication for their Hollywood-inspired retail precinct, The Boulevard at Studio City, Macau.
With a focus on fashion, beauty, lifestyle and people, the mobile-optimised Fashion Statement also has entertainment content. It is published in English and simplified Chinese.
“Macau has a competitive retail landscape, and we are proud of our carefully curated mix of fashion-forward labels,” says Melco Crown Entertainment senior VP for entertainment and projects, Sunny Yu.
“Fashion Statement is designed to not only promote those labels, but to position ourselves as the authority on fashion and the top-of-mind luxury retail destination in Asia.”
“Fashion is not just about trends – it’s about expressing yourself, turning heads and owning it,” says The Boulevard at Studio City, Taubman Asia GM-retail Peggy Suen. “We look at the movers and shakers of the fashion world … We know our shoppers are digitally savvy, and believe this publication is the most effective way to engage with them.”
A feature of the magazine is the “Shop the Boulevard” section which presents statement items from Studio City retailers as chosen by industry stylists. Readers can reserve limited-edition pieces for collection on their next visit to Macau.
