Criteo appoints chief for ASPAC

Performance marketing technology company Criteo has appointed Yvonne Chang as executive MD of Asia-Pacific, the company’s fastest-growing region globally.

Chang will provide strategic direction and further accelerate the company’s APAC growth. Its client portfolio includes AskmeBazaar, Expedia, Hotels.com, MatahariMall.com, Rakuten and Zalora.

Based in Singapore, Chang’s purview covers Australia, China, India, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. She is also be responsible for business development and expanding advertiser and publisher relationships into Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Chang has had more than 10 years’ experience in leadership roles within the advertising technology industry in the region, specifically greater China. She comes from being president of Eastern Broadcasting in Taiwan, and before than had more than a decade at Yahoo!, where her most recent role was VP for advertising solutions for APAC and MD for India and Southeast Asia.

“Driven by an exponential increase in smartphone penetration, APAC is the world’s largest retail eCommerce market and second-largest travel eCommerce market,” says Chang.

Criteo enables eCommerce businesses and advertisers to engage and convert customers online by delivering relevant, personalised advertising. The company has just opened an office in India and moved into larger premises in Singapore. It now has 31 offices globally, including seven across APAC.
