The high-profile Bangkok retail show and conference kicks off this Thursday.
RetailEx Asean, the in-store equipment and services expo will be held at the Impact Exhibition & Convention Centre in Bangkok from August 25 to 27.
Thai retailers wanting to learn more about Inside Retail Thailand and its online portal will be welcome to visit our stand at the event.
The exhibition showcases retail equipment, technology and services from local and international exhibitors. Attendees also have networking opportunities.
More than 150 exhibitors will present items and services such as auto ID, barcode printers, food equipment and displays, interior design, LED screens, mannequins, POS software/terminals/printers, retail software, scanners, security equipment, shelving, supermarket shopping carts, video-wall digital signs, warehouse rack systems and web development services,.

Design focus
Created especially for shop owners who want their store to be different, the Designer Pavilion showcases Thai and international shop design, lighting design, visual merchandising design, space management and interior design.
Associated with the exhibition are shop fittings and shop interior designs from an in-store design contest for Silpakorn University students majoring in decorative arts.
The concurrent two-day conference, with the theme “Creating the new Asean retail landscape in 2020” focuses on helping the retail industry strategise, evolve, change and grow. It explores the trends and future of the retail/shopping mall experience.

Supported by the Thai Retailers Association (TRA) and the Thai Shopping Centers Association (TSCA), the conference will include panel discussions, educational presentations, case studies and networking sessions. Formed 30 years ago, the TRA was initially known as the Department Store Retailers Club, while the TSCA grew from a collaboration of shopping malls to exchange trend knowledge, experience and information.
