Mugler Singapore pop-up store at Capitol Piazza

Short-term store at Capitol Piazza is introducing a chic French brand to Singaporeans.

Mugler Singapore made its debut at the weekend inside the multi-label Manifesto concept store, located at heritage shopping mall Capitol Piazza.

The brainchild of French designer Walid Zaazaa, the 2500 sqft Manifesto space has curated and brought in over 60 fashion brands ranging from cult to couture, and the Paris-based heritage brand is next.

“Thierry Mugler is one of the most inspiring designers of our time, ever since I studied fashion in Paris,” said Zaazaa.

“He is a true genius. We are extremely proud to work with Mugler this year, and it is an exciting collaboration with Manifesto. It’s like bringing a piece of Paris into Singapore.”

Unifying both fashion and fragrances entities under one brand for greater consistency and visibility, the all-new Mugler was unveiled in March 2016, adopting a new signature written in capital letters. Combining both light and bold characters to express the brand’s femininity and masculinity, the revamp marks a turning point in its history after the arrival of artistic director David Koma in January 2013 who refreshed the fashion line and its radical change in their new Angel Muse, Georgia May Jagger.

Fashion lovers can expect to see a select collection of the Spring-Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection in Manifesto, along with the all-new Angel Muse eau de parfum.

The Mugler pop-up store will remain open until December 31.
