MasterChef Australia contestant Reynold Poernomo will feature in the debut of the MasterChef Dining & Bar pop-up at the InterContinental Singapore’s Ash & Elm restaurant.

The 22-year-old pastry chef made his mark in the seventh season of the TV contest with his desserts, and now runs the Koi Dessert Bar in Chippendale, Sydney.

The MasterChef pop-up dining series has proved a success in Australia and London, with Singapore being its first stop in Asia. Poernomo will cook from December 4 to 9, while British celebrity chef Marco Pierre White (often a guest judge and mentor on MasterChef Australia) mans the pop-up from November 25 to December 9.
Other MasterChef contestants, from the Asian and American editions of the show, will also cook at the event. Their names will be announced later.

Tickets for dining at the Singapore pop-up can be bought online. The event is being organised by Endemol Shine Group, the creator of the MasterChef brand.
