Lazada’s Online Revolution features 1000-plus brands

eCommerce giant Lazada will kick off its annual Online Revolution shopping event in Southeast Asia on November 11 with more than 1000 brands and 55,000 merchants.

This year’s fifth edition of Lazada’s Online Revolution has as its theme “Brands for All”. Shoppers can expect more than 500,000 deals, including offers from such brands as Laneige, Nestle, Oppo and Samsung.

Lazada is offering Singapore shoppers discounts of up to 90 per cent plus more than 100 Flash Deals and vouchers worth up to S$100 (US$72) each. In total, Lazada Singapore will generate vouchers worth S$1 million.

During the event last year, Lazada Singapore saw its revenue uplift by six times on the key sale dates, November 11 and December 12. There was also a 55 per cent spike in orders on Black Friday and a 45 per cent increase on Cyber Monday.

This year, deals are being offered across 17 product categories as well as the special offers on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Lazada Singapore has also partnered with Citibank to offer cardholders an extra 15 per cent off storewide, and drivers who top up at Shell fuel stations can redeem Lazada vouchers of up to 25 per cent. Shoppers can also spin a deal wheel onsite to win Dominos vouchers.

Lazada started the Online Revolution on December 12, 2012, and it has now become an annual month-long event.
