The first stage of the Our Tampines Hub was formally opened this week.
The initial part of the project includes Festival Mall, Public Service Centre, Hawker Centre and a community auditorium. The People’s Association (PA) is the lead agency for the project’s development.
Located at the former Tampines Stadium and Tampines Sports Hall, phases two and three are scheduled for completion by mid 2017.
The Public Service Centre at Our Tampines Hub will be the first of its kind that will function as an integrated hub, offering a comprehensive suite of services from multiple government agencies such as Housing Development Board, Singapore Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Social and Family Development, Sport Singapore and the North East Community Development Council, extending greater convenience to all residents under one roof.
Being the first of its kind, Our Tampines Hub is a development created with input from 15,000 Tampines residents over an 18 month period.
Residents can download an Our Tampines Hub app on their mobile phones for the full listings of retail, food and beverage outlets as well as keep up with the latest events, programs and activities at the Hub.
