Animated circus core of Christmas at Landmark

An animated circus is the core of the Christmas at Landmark theme this year, featuring colourful characters and performers led by “Santa Paws”.

The centre’s annual festive display tells a fantasy story revolving around a little girl with the theme of inner strength. The installation was created by an international team of artistic collaborators including designers, animatronic experts and set builders with characters created by French illustrator Eric Giriat.

Featuring more than 100 figures, both animatronic and mechanical, the display covers Landmark Atrium and iconic buildings. Adding to the atmosphere is an authentic popcorn cart in Landmark Chater. It was built by US food-truck pioneer C. Cretors and Company in 1893.

Meanwhile, Landmark is supporting Make-a-Wish Hong Kong over the festive season. Visitors can write down Christmas wishes on a special circus ticket, to be sent to three children in need. For every ticket submitted, Landmark will make a HK$20 (US$2.50) donation to the charity.

Visitors can also buy special Christmas souvenirs including tote bags, Landmark Circus character plush-toys and boxes of circus chocolates at the Circus Store at Landmark Alexandra, with all proceeds going to the charity.
For children, Landmark Atrium is hosting juggling workshops on December 17, 18, 23 and 24.
For shoppers at Landmark’s 208 stores and restaurants, a spend of HK$10,000 or more will earn a gift certificate valued up to HK$26,000.
