Le Saunda online sales drop 40pc

A 40.5 per cent drop in eCommerce business as part of a general sales decline has been recorded by footwear manufacturer and retailer Le Saunda Holdings for its third quarter.
Its unaudited retail data for the three months to the end of November shows an 8 per cent drop in total retail sales, with same-store sales declining 7.1 per cent compared with the same period last year.
Le Saunda also says it has 75 fewer retail outlets as at November 30. It has 822 outlets in China, Hong Kong and Macau. These comprise 737 self-owned outlets in all three territories, and 85 franchised outlets on the mainland.
