Four Seasons Place KL complex includes mall

Complete with a mall, Four Seasons Place, the second-tallest building in Malaysia, will be ready by the end of this year.

As well as 300,000 sqft (27,870 sqm) of retail, the mixed development includes a 240-room hotel and 242 residential units. The gross development value is RM3 billion (US$700.4 million).

Next to Suria KLCC, the 77-storey building has a height of 342.5m.

The mall and Four Seasons Hotel are expected to open in the second quarter of next year. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will run the hotel and branded residences.

Venus Assets is the developer and owner of the project while China Railway Construction is the contractor. Venus Assets’ controlling shareholders include the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris.

Venus Assets’ executive director David Ban says 70 per cent of the residences have been taken up by local and foreign buyers since being launched in 2013.

Meanwhile, CRCC chief economist Zhao Jin Hua says CRCC has completed more than 20 projects since venturing into the Malaysian market in the early 1990s. These have involved infrastructure, such as railways and highways, and property construction worth US$1.3 billion.
