A limited-time Spider-Man cafe has opened in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills to mark the upcoming Japanese release of the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming in August.
The cafe interior pays homage to the comic-book hero, and patrons are encouraged to wear Spider-Man cosplay costumes. Free limited-edition Spider-Man stickers are available for customers while stocks last.
Menu items include the Spider Curry, for ¥1500 (US$13.55), which reflects Spider-Man’s red costume with its tomato base. It is accompanied by ketchup-flavoured rice dressed up to look like Spider-Man in his mask.
For drinks, the ¥700 Spider Sense Latte is decorated to resemble a spider’s web.
The cafe is open until July 15.
