7-Eleven Vietnam to debut in June

Convenience store giant 7-Eleven will open first Vietnam stores in June.

In an announcement on its official Facebook page, 7-Eleven Vietnam says it expects to open stores in Districts 1, 2, 3 and Binh Thanh of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to local news site Zing, quoting an inside source, the first five locations have been registered under 7-Eleven Vietnam’s name on Ngo Tat To, Le Loi, Nguyen Du Street, inside AB Tower and at Saigon Trade Centre.

During the opening week, 7-Eleven Vietnam will offer many discounts and promotions to customers to help build brand awareness.

The company is currently recruiting sales and store managers.

Vietnam is the 19th market to welcome this convenience store chain, with 100 stores expected to open in the first three years, and 1000 within a decade.
