Miniso Philippines marks first year with giant Pampanga store

Miniso Philippines has launched its largest outlet, in SM City Pampanga.

The Japanese concept store’s first branch in the Philippines opened in Robinsons Place Manila 12 months ago. To mark its first anniversary, the 700 sqm 24th branch was opened with a traditional Japanese ceremony attended by executives, local government members and celebrities Julie Ann San Jose and Benjamin Alves.

At the opening, Miniso Philippines assistant-VP Carlos Sy said the group plans to open more outlets within the year at the rate of at least one branch a week.

With its headquarters in Tokyo, Miniso was jointly founded by designer Miyake Jyunya and Chinese entrepreneur Ye Guofu with three core values: quality, creative, and low price.

In just three years, Miniso has built up a presence in more than 50 countries and regions with more than 2000 retail stores. It can be found in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Lao, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
