Honestbee Food launches meal deliveries

Honestbee Food restaurant delivery service has been extended to Hong Kong.

This follows the grocery and concierge service Honestbee partnering last month with eight major supermarkets, including UK retailer Tesco.

To mark the launch of the meal-delivery service, Honestbee Food is offering special deals to Hong Kong customers, plus a free delivery promotion, until September 20.

Starting with a delivery radius from Happy Valley to Pok Fu Lam, Honestbee Food allows customers to order beyond their neighbourhood. For instance, customers in Kennedy Town can now order from Causeway Bay restaurants or even further afield. The platform plans to extend meal-delivery services to the Hung Hom and Tsim Sha Tsui areas by end of next month.

Customers can choose from more than 70 restaurants, with Honestbee Food aiming to surpass 1000 by the end of the year.

“We have been delivering groceries and meals to households in Singapore and Taipei since the beginning of this year,” says Honestbee Hong Kong country  manager Derek Winder. “Both services provide a wide range of food and beverage choices and convenience to Hongkongers.”

Orders for both groceries and meals can be placed via the app now, or the website from next month. They can even contact Honestbee’s customer service team for information, such as the best restaurants for large groups, specific dishes or help with dietary requirements.

Honestbee Food also offers an individually tended corporate service, with each company assigned a dedicated account manager. There is also a monthly order scheme, which has proven popular with professional industries, including law firms and financial corporations.

First-time users of the corporate service receive HK$2000 (US$250) worth of free meals, an offer valid until September 20.
