Louis Vuitton China moves into e-commerce

Louis Vuitton China has launched an e-commerce website.

The French fashion house, which opened its first store in Beijing in 1992, says the website offers leather goods, shoes, accessories, watches and jewellery, luggage and the new Les Parfums Louis Vuitton.

Twelve cities initially have access to the portal – Beijing, Chengdu, ChongQing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Harbin, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Shenyang and Wuhan.

Payments are being accepted via Alipay, UnionPay and WeChat, says the company.

It is the 11th e-commerce market for Vuitton since it launched the service in France in 2005.
