Lane Crawford has opened a month-long promotion aimed at raising the profile of lesser-known footwear labels.

The Lane Crawford Studio is a pop-up display featuring designs from Dorateymur, Gray Matters, Trademark, Creatures of Comfort, Mercedes Castillo and Tibi – all small brands from around the world that don’t have wide distribution.

The shoe in the photograph is a kitten-heel mule from Gray Matters, priced at HK$4450.

Footwear News says many of the footwear styles featured in Studio “exude a chic, minimalist vibe with architectural constructions”.

“Many of the footwear styles featured in the Studio Lane Crawford’s Studio space also taps into the current desire for luxurious comfort in footwear, with oh-so-walkable midi heels and slip-on mules, but executed in sumptuous materials and textures.”
