New technology features in the NTUC FairPrice debut “living lab” debut store, which officially opens at the new SingPost Centre today.
Offering an interactive and immersive customer experience, the store also introduces upgraded features of present tech initiatives, assessing these for implementation in its other outlets.
NTUC FairPrice says the store’s development is in line with the Retail Industry Transformation Map (ITM) launched last year by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Spring Singapore.
Following the official launch of SingPost Centre, which specialises in integrating technology with the shopping experience, the supermarket opening includes a tour for guests of its new technologies.
The guest-of-honour is Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for Communications and Information, and the NTUC FairPrice opening will be hosted by CEO Seah Kian Peng.
