Valcucine opens fourth store in India

Italian luxury holding company ItalianCreationGroup is expanding in India, opening a fourth store for kitchen design firm Valcucine at the Raghuvanshi Mills compound in Mumbai.

Valcucine entered the Indian market in 2009, opening stores in Bangalore, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Mumbai. A fifth store will open in Ahmedabad next year.

Among highlights in the new Valcucine showroom is the V-Motion kitchen system, which works with simple gestures.

“Valcucine is ideal for bespoke projects, and India loves Italian excellence in innovation and craftsmanship,” says director Gautam Vora of Valcucine’s local partner, furniture retailer and developer Akruti Living.

Guests at the store opening included Indian architect Zubin Zainuddin, founder of architectural and interior design firm ZZ Architects, who this year chose a bespoke Valcucine kitchen for his private residence.
