Both brands are owned by Korean cosmetics giant Amorepacific.

“I am so grateful for the amazing 10 years with relationship Laneige built over trust and love!,” exclaimed Song in an Instagram post announcing the move, since confirmed by Amorepacific. “And now I am excited to start this new journey with Sulwhasoo.”

A Laneige spokesperson, meanwhile, said Kim’s image fits well with the brand’s vision to “unleash the sparkling beauty within every young woman”.

“You-Jung Kim is expected to show great synergy with the brand’s young and trendy image,” the statement said.

Kim will be joining another Korean actress Lee Sung Kyung, who also models for the brand, pictured below.
