Down apparel retailer Bosideng taps global designers

Chinese down apparel retailer Bosideng has launched new collections with three international designers.

The capsule collections are the products of collaborations with former Ralph Lauren design director Tim Coppens; former Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton designer Antonin Tron; and Yohji Yamamoto’s collaborator Ennio Capasa.

The Bosideng x Tim Coppens collaborative collection fuses European fashion with New York styles using different materials in classic premium fall/winter colours. By contrast, Ennio Capasa’s Bosideng collaboration makes use of colours such as black, white, red and azure in printed Scandinavian natural scenery and animal patterns in the expression of “wild nature”.

Antonin Tron’s capsule series with Bosideng draws inspiration from his experience of scaling the Himalayas and other outdoor activities, and features down-filled puffer jackets, parkas, zipped jackets and sportswear.

The collections were revealed in Beijing on Saturday, and will officially hit stores on November 5.
