Chinese hot-pot franchise Hai Di Lao is set to launch in Malaysia next week.

Opening in Sunway Pyramid Hotel, the restaurant soft launches today before its official opening on April 1.

The brand, originally known for its spicy malatang soups, has more than 300 outlets throughout Asia. The Malaysian franchise will offer unique laksa and peppered pig-stomach soup menu items unavailable elsewhere.

Another two Malaysian branches are expected to open in Pavilion KL and Gurney Paragon Mall in Penang.
