The flagship store was originally set to open in January and the site has been shrouded in a giant billboard announcing its impending appearance for months. However, due to the Covid-19 crisis affecting shopping centre trading, the opening was twice postponed, the latest official date being June 1.

Even though that day is near, it has yet to be finally confirmed. Meanwhile, the company is finalising the formalities required to open. Thailand has extended its Covid-19 state of emergency until June 30, but has allowed malls to reopen, under strict social-distancing requirements.
