Moet & Chandon teams with Ambush in world-first Tokyo pop-up store

French winery Moet & Chandon has collaborated with Yoon Ahn, co-founder and creative director of fashion and jewellery label Ambush, to launch a shop-in-shop, pop-up store in Tokyo.

Called ‘Moet & Chandon x Ambush shop in shop Omotesando’, the pop-up store marks the winery’s first global collaboration. The store will run until August 1.

Moet & Chandon’s pop up will feature the ‘Moet Imperial Design by Ambush’ wine range designed by Ahn. The bottle design follows a minimal and sophisticated style with embossed letters.

“The most challenging part of designing the Moet & Chandon bottle was keeping the tradition – the most iconic part of the bottle – as it is while making it even more striking by keeping it monochrome,” said Ahn.

Marking the launch, Moet & Chandon will hold a gift campaign for customers to win autographed bottles by Ahn and local artists – Verbal, Takanori Iwata, Kiko Mizuhara, Miyavi, and Mandy Sekiguchi.

“I hope our collaboration will bring different people from all walks of life and they can come and enjoy Champagne together,” Ahn said.
