Tokyo debut for London-based Italian restaurant chain Lina Stores

London-based Italian delicatessen and restaurant, Lina Stores, has opened its first overseas flagship store in Omotesando, Tokyo.

Lina Stores’ signature pistachio colour can be found at the store facade and interior designs. The 300sqm store houses an open theatre kitchen and a pasta workshop. Customers can also enjoy their meal at the large open space with a terrace outside the store.

Besides its signature fresh handmade pasta, Lina Stores Omotesando also offers Italian products, including cooking ingredients and wine imported from Italy.

The store was brought into Japan under a partnership between Lina Stores and RT Corporation, a local company that oversees the food and beverage department of the Takashimaya Group.

RT Corporation operates about 100 stores, including Taiwan’s Din Tai Fung and Hong Kong’s Sugar Morning.

Founded in 1944 in London’s Soho district, Lina Stores was named after its founder Lina from Genoa, Italy. With three stores located in the heart of London, Lina Stores quickly became the hub of the Italian community in the city.
