Swiss brand On expands in Southeast Asia

Swiss-based running brand On has launched its first pop-up store in Singapore, as part of its strategy to expand in the Asia market.

The 1335sqft store, located at Wheelock Place on Singapore’s Orchard Road, will display footwear and apparel collections ranging from engineering performance designs to lifestyle designs including Cloudsurfer, Cloudmonster and The Roger Clubhouse.

According to On, it has created CloudTec, an innovation that aims to provide runners with a shoe made especially for gentle landings followed by “powerful takeoffs”. Each shoe is designed to be comfortable, ergonomic, and effective.


“We hope to empower the Singapore community of everyday explorers, runners and outdoor enthusiasts to level up their running performance,” said Walter Tan, MD of Outdoor Venture.  

Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, On has attracted a global following with a presence in more than 6000 merchants in 55 markets across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia-Pacific.

Last year, On opened its first Asian flagship store in Tokyo, Japan, the brand’s second flagship after New York and its largest store yet worldwide.
