Swiss premium confectionery brand Läderach has launched its first store in Hong Kong at K11 Musea.
In partnership with Valiram, a Southeast Asian retail management company, the chocolate retailer is located on the first floor of the K11 Musea shopping centre.
“We have big plans and are confident that we can continue on our growth and expansion course,” said Johannes Läderach, CEO of Läderach.
“This includes openings in existing and particularly strong markets such as North America, Austria, and Germany, but also exciting new markets where we see excellent prospects, such as Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and Indonesia.”
Expanding into the Middle East market, the company recently opened its first flagship store in Egypt through a partnership with the local franchise partner.
In the Apac region, the company plans to expand further by the end of this year, with additional openings in Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia.
Founded in 1962, Läderach features a wide range of fresh and hand-crafted chocolate and has internationally operated more than 140 stores across 25 countries.
Earlier, Läderach expanded its premium confectionery lineup, including its newly launched Dubai chocolate range, to the global market, with launches in the US, Canada, European countries, and the Philippines.
