Italian luxury fashion label Wandler has teamed with Bluebell Group to launch in Japan this November.

Under the partnership, Bluebell Group will oversee Wandler’s operations, marketing initiatives, and management of e-commerce platforms in Japan.

Elza Wandler launched her namesake brand in late 2017. The label’s products are known for being functional yet refined in shape, with “a crisp take on femininity” using colour while staying true to its Dutch DNA.

“Wandler’s exceptional craftsmanship and functional luxurious designs promise to bring a fresh option to Japanese consumers,” said Serge Grebert, president at Bluebell Japan.

Bluebell Group manages 150 brands across Asia, including more than 50 global brands in Japan, which was the first Asian market the group entered into, 69 years ago.

“The only way to conquer a market like Japan is with a local specialist,” said Joost Doeswijk, COO of Wandler. “We couldn’t have dreamed of a better partner than Bluebell Japan to help grow Wandler in the Japanese market.”

The move follows Bluebell Group’s partnership with Alice Pizza, under which it opened the pizza chain’s first Asia location in Hong Kong last month.
