Muji’s location at Singapore’s Plaza Singapura has reopened as its largest global flagship store in Southeast Asia following a revamp.

The 38,000sqft renovated store is more than twice its original size and is home to 15 departments and more than 3000 products.

The location has also launched new concepts including Muji Renovation and Everyday Good Price. Muji Renovation offers end-to-end home planning including renovation and furnishing, while Everyday Good Price offers sustainable living essentials priced below $10.

In addition, Muji Fashion has expanded its range and now features exclusive offerings such as maternity wear and kids and babies innerwear and sleepwear.

Cafe&Meal Muji has also expanded, now with a sitting capacity for 94 people. Its current festive menu is available until December 27.

The revamped Muji Plaza Singapura has a frozen food section and has also made its community market a permanent feature. The community market showcases products from lesser-known Japanese regions.

“We deeply appreciate the opportunity to expand and present our increased product range in our revitalised flagship store, situated in the heart of the city,” said Katsushi Onishi, MD at Muji Singapore.

“We are eager to introduce Muji’s new product line and services to Singapore through the new MUJI Plaza Singapura, and hope to extend these offerings to our other stores in the future.”

Muji launched its space at Plaza Singapura in 2017, which was its first flagship store for Southeast Asia.
