Chinese milk tea brand Heytea has opened its first South Korean store in Seoul’s Gangnam district.

According to the firm, the 80sqm store will provide new-generation Chinese tea drinks created from “all real” materials of authentic quality, such as “real milk, real tea, real fruit, and real cane sugar”.

The venue also offers limited edition “Most Romantic Heytea City Fridge Magnets” inspired by the city’s Namsan Tower.

Founded in 2012, Heytea opened its first overseas store in Singapore in 2018. In 2023, the brand expanded its global footprint by entering new markets such as the UK, Australia, Canada, the US, and Malaysia.

The company claims that its launch into South Korea strengthens its position as the market leader in Asia’s new style tea drink category. The Chinese brand plans to continue growing its presence in major countries throughout Asia and the world.
