Auntie Anne’s is making its Hong Kong comeback by opening a store in the Tsim Sha Tsui shopping district. F&B conglomerate Super Fab Foods will run the American pretzel chain.
The company previously had closed all its branches in the city in 2018.
Founded in 1988, Auntie Anne’s started as a stand in a Pennsylvania farmer’s market and has since grown into a global chain specialising in pretzels and lemonade.
Aside from its signature original buttery pretzels, Auntie Anne’s Hong Kong will offer a range of sweet and savoury options such as almond, cinnamon-sugar dusted, or pepperoni-topped pretzels.
The outlet will also have lemonades and fruity lemonade mixers with flavours such as strawberry, blueberry, or watermelon.
Dhiraj Kundamal, MD at Super Fab Foods, said the company’s vision is to opens Auntie Anne’s stores across the territory.
“Hong Kong is a global city and one of the easiest places to set up a business,” said Kundamal.
“Our vision is to scale across multiple brands and locations in Hong Kong and the GBA by blending in local flavours to cater to the East-meets-West culture.”
