Bestseller India CEO Vineet Gautam retires

Bestseller India CEO and country head Vineet Gautam will step down from his role, effective the end of December this year.

Gautam joined the clothing retailer in 2010 and has been instrumental in introducing brands such as Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, Only, and Selected Homme.

Anders Holch Povslen, CEO and owner of Bestseller, expressed gratitude for Gautam’s contribution in the company.

“As he steps down, we are grateful for his years of service,” he continued.

“Looking ahead, I am excited about the immense potential India holds and our continued journey of growth and expansion in this incredible country.”

Gautam reflected on his 15-year tenure with the company and how it has been “deeply fulfilling”. 

“As I step away, I am confident that the legacy we’ve built will continue to thrive,” he concluded.”

Since its launch, Bestseller India has 322 brand outlets and more than 1578 shop-in-shops nationwide.
