Joy Group acquires Italian haircare brand Foltène

Multi-brand beauty company Joy Group has announced its acquisition of Italian dermatological haircare brand Foltène.

Foltène is known for its science-based product development and innovation, and uses two proprietary active complexes – Tricosaccaride and Tricalgoxyl – to formulate products that are clinically proven to promote thicker and fuller hair.

The global acquisition will cover Foltène’s brand assets, global distribution network, supply chain systems and its research laboratory located in Italy.

The acquisition furthers Joy Group’s “multi-brand, multi-category, and international” strategy, creating a comprehensive portfolio of colour cosmetics, hair care and skincare products.

“The addition of Foltène will generate strong synergies with the group’s existing brands, driving Joy Group’s continued growth and innovation in the global beauty market,” said the brand in a post to LinkedIn.
