Vietnamese digital-first fashion brand Coolmate has closed its Series C funding round at an undisclosed amount, aiming to expand internationally and launch into the women’s fashion market.
The funding round was led by Vertex Growth Fund, with participation from Cool Japan Fund, YoungOne CVC, and existing investors Vertex Ventures SEA & India and Kairous Capital.
“This investment allows us to amplify that belief, expand to new markets, and keep building a brand that truly represents Vietnamese innovation,” said Nhu Chi Pham, CEO and founder of Coolmate.
Founded in 2019, Coolmate has delivered more than 5 million orders nationwide, operating on a technology-enabled local supply chain. The Series C injection will support three strategic priorities: Go Women, Go Global, Go Offline.
The Go Women initiative launched in March with a new activewear line, aiming for women’s products to contribute 40 per cent of total revenue by 2030.
Under Go Global, Coolmate debuted on Amazon US, achieving Best Seller status and more than 25,000 orders per month, with plans to expand across Southeast Asia and achieve 30 per cent international revenue by 2030.
Go Offline will see the brand roll out physical retail stores to enhance customer experience, targeting 40 per cent of revenue from offline sales by 2030.
Last year, Coolmate secured US$6 million in its series B funding round led by Vertex Venture Southeast Asia and India.
