Zara has reopened its relocated 2000sqm Minatomirai Tokyu Square store in Yokohama, Japan, designed according to its latest global concept.

The store has moved from the first floor to the second level of the shopping centre, with dual access from the mall – directly connected to Minatomirai Station – and from the street.

The interior is organised into a series of boutique-style rooms, framed by structural beams and portal openings. Natural light enters through the mall’s glazed facades and skylights, while textured wall finishes and a black-painted open ceiling add contrast.

The women’s section features a fluid layout with lighter tones for the main collections and darker finishes with stainless-steel details for younger lines.

Meanwhile, the men’s section follows a similar design approach but is arranged in a segmented sequence of rooms using dark tones, wood finishes and black metal elements.

Customers can also use interactive screens to browse real-time inventory, locate specific products within the store, and use dedicated pick-up points to collect online orders placed through its online store or app.
