Siddhartha Shukla, deputy CEO of luxury fashion brand Lanvin, is departing the house after more than four years.
Shukla, an American luxury industry veteran, joined Lanvin in late 2021 to support the brand’s transformation. He was previously chief brand officer of premium US label Theory and had over a decade at Gucci and Saint Laurent.
Lanvin’s Chinese parent company, Lanvin Group, said that Andy Lew, the group’s executive president and Lanvin’s chairman and CEO, will continue to oversee the brand and its strategic ambitions.
Shukla’s exit marks another addition to recent leadership changes within the group. Mandy West was appointed as CEO of womenswear brand St John Knits last week, while Marco Pozzo was named the new CEO of Wolford last month.
The group recently carved out Italian menswear label Caruso by selling it to MondeVita Italy, a subsidiary of Mondevo Group. The move was said to help it focus on core brands amid continued volatility in the luxury market.
For the fiscal first half, the group’s revenue slid 22 per cent, with the Lanvin brand recorded the biggest decline of 42 per cent.
