Global quick‑service brand Subway has appointed Yellowstone Investment as its master franchise partner in Taiwan, aiming to accelerate growth across the island over the next decade.

Under the agreement, Yellowstone will oversee the management and development of Subway’s restaurant network, drawing on local market expertise to expand in key urban and suburban locations.

“Subway is already a recognised and trusted brand in the market, and Yellowstone’s strategic, data-driven approach positions us well for continued expansion and long-term success,” said Joseph Hsu, president of Subway Asia Pacific.

Led by president and CEO John Huang and co‑founder Chester Tang, Yellowstone brings decades of experience in real estate investment, multi-unit food operations, and large-scale business development.

Huang said Taiwan’s appetite for freshly made, better-for-you options presents a strong opportunity to build on Subway’s foundation, combining local insights with a disciplined development strategy to thoughtfully expand the brand across the island.

The master franchise agreement reflects Subway’s commitment to strategic, locally informed expansion across the Asia Pacific region.
