Fragrance brand Diptyque has opened a flagship on Hong Kong’s Hollywood Road, expanding on the street-level concept store it debuted there last year.

Located in Central, the 100sqm duplex boutique features Parisian-inspired interiors with references to Hong Kong’s architectural and cultural heritage.

The store has a green, two-level facade, with the upper-floor window featuring a neon installation by Hong Kong artist Jive Lau.

Inside, the flagship blends elements of traditional Parisian apartments and mosaic detailing inspired by Hong Kong’s older shopfronts and antique stores.

Centrestage on the ground floor is a large wooden display island showcasing a range of products and gifting items, while fragrance and home collections are displayed in wall niches throughout the space.

The first floor houses collections including Les Mondes de Diptyque and Les Essences de Diptyque, alongside an Art of Body Care section featuring a fresco created by design studio Redfield and Dattner.

According to the brand, the concept for the flagship was designed to create an immersive retail experience centred on fragrance, home decor and body care rituals.

Founded in Paris in 1961, Diptyque specialises in fragrances, scented candles and decorative objects, and currently operates multiple stores and counters across Hong Kong, including locations at IFC Mall, Harbour City and K11 Musea.
