Italian jewellery house Buccellati has opened its largest Asia-Pacific store in Thailand, accelerating its presence in Southeast Asia.
The boutique, located on the M Floor of Bangkok’s Siam Paragon, also marks the brand’s entry into the Thai market and adds to its growing retail network across the region.
According to the brand, the store features a design that reflects Buccellati’s Italian heritage, with wood panelling, handmade stucco finishes, and decorative elements inspired by European palaces. The interior also incorporates antique furnishings and mirrors dating from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Among the pieces on display are two 16th-century mirrors from Naples, crafted using the traditional doratura a mecca gilding technique and preserved with their original mirror plates. Buccellati said the mirrors were selected specifically for the Bangkok boutique.
The store carries a selection of the brand’s jewellery collections, including Macri, Opera and Tulle, as well as high jewellery pieces, silverware, flatware and giftware. Customers can also experience hand-engraving techniques that have become a hallmark of the Italian maison.
Founded in Italy by Mario Buccellati, Buccellati is known for its handcrafted jewellery and silverware. The company is owned by Richemont, with members of the Buccellati family continuing to hold senior management positions within the business.
