Thai fashion and lifestyle retailer Jaspal has appointed Damien Corcoran as CEO, effective immediately.

Corcoran brings international leadership experience across the retail and consumer sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Most recently, he served as chairman of the Isle of Man Meat Company. He previously led Grandiose Supermarkets and Catering in Dubai as CEO and, before that, was international vice-president at Whole Foods Market, where he oversaw the company’s international expansion following its acquisition by Amazon.

His experience spans business transformation, commercial strategy, retail operations and international growth.

Jaspal said Corcoran will lead the business as it focuses on strengthening its market position and expanding globally.

The company’s portfolio comprises 19 brands, including its owned labels Jaspal, CPS, Lyn, CC Double O, Lyn Around, Jelly Bunny and CPS Coffee.

It also holds distribution rights for international brands for Fred Perry, Asics, Diesel, Puma, Melissa, Marithé + François Girbaud and Satur.

Jaspal operates more than 400 stores and points of sale across Thailand and international markets, supported by its e-commerce platforms.

“Corcoran’s appointment marks an important step in our long-term growth strategy as we seek to reinforce our competitive position and create new opportunities across the region,” the company said.
