South Korean fashion platform Musinsa is entering the Philippine market through ACX Holdings, a subsidiary of the Ayala Group.

The brand plans to open its first brick-and-mortar store at Glorietta in Makati in the second half of this year.

ACX will leverage its distribution infrastructure and operational capabilities to support Musinsa’s expansion in the country and introduce the brand to the local audience.

Musinsa described the Philippines as a strategic market with “strong growth potential”.

“Building on our partnership with ACX Holdings, we will strengthen the brand competitiveness of Musinsa Standard and offer Filipino consumers a K-fashion experience,” the company said.

ACX Holdings is the distribution arm of the Ayala Group, one of the Philippines’ largest conglomerates with businesses spanning retail, real estate, finance, telecommunications, and energy.

Founded in Seoul in 2001 by Cho Man-ho, Musinsa is an omnichannel fashion platform specialising in domestic streetwear and K-fashion. The company aggregates more than 10,000 independent and established brands through its retail ecosystem.
