Korean beauty retailer Olive Young is launching a personalised shopping service at its flagship store in Gangnam Town, Seoul.

The Personalised Shopper service is a trial program that will run throughout March. It is available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese.

This service aims to assist international customers in learning about various beauty products in-store, including skincare, makeup, and wellness items.

Customers can book complimentary sessions through Klook, where personal shoppers will guide them through the store, recommend popular products based on a preliminary survey, and offer consultations tailored to individual skin types.

Customers will also receive a ‘Welcome Kit’ containing product samples. Those spending more than US$342 (KRW500,000) will receive a VIP gift, while purchases over $684 (KRW1,000,000) will qualify for free hotel delivery.

“We hope that foreign tourists visiting Korea will be able to experience the power of K-beauty products through Olive Young,” said the company. “We will continue to improve shopping convenience for global customers.”

The company will collect customer feedback to determine potential expansion to other locations.
