Chinese sportswear brands see rebound

The Chinese sportswear industry is seeing signs of recovery from difficult trading conditions. Anta, whose market value stood at $4 billion, said it booked single-digit percentage growth in orders for third quarter deliveries. Chinese sportswear brand 361 Degrees continued to struggle throughout 2013, reporting a 70 per cent net profit fall. Finnish outdoor sports goods chain One Way Sport is to enter China. The brand has forged a joint venture with 361 Degrees to roll out stores in Greater China.
