Malaysian QSR chain SugarBun is taking its brand to Indonesia.

SugarBun has signed PT Mitra Adidaya Perkasa as franchise partner for West Kalimantan, Jakarta and Medan.

The first SugarBun outlet is currently under construction at Ayani MegaMall and is slated to open this month. The outlet will offer broasted chicken meals and hot and spicy chicken alongside with some local dishes.

The partners aim to open 20 outlets in Indonesia by 2018.

From a humble beginning as an ice cream parlour in1979, SugarBun has evolved to become one of the leading food service restaurants with operation spanning Malaysia, Brunei, Bangladesh and now Indonesia.
