Rue Madame in Hong Kong expansion

One of the retailers tapping on Hong Kong’s booming fashion market is Rue Madame, which has opened a third store, at Silvercord, Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon.

Rue Madame is a concept boutique chain that sells Parisian products exclusively for women including Claudie Pierlot, Maje, American Vintage, Sessun, Gat Rimon, Toupy, Sandro and Dress Gallery. Since its launch there in 2010, it has earned steadily growing customer base among fashion savvy women.

“Two years ago we saw a niche for fashionable brands between the luxury brands and mass retailers and we moved quickly. Today, our strategy is working just fine,” said founder Ariane Zagury.

“Looking ahead, we see even more room for growth in this particular market segment, and hence our third store is set to cater to this demand,” Zagury said.

With an area of more than 1600 sqft, Rue Madame in Tsim Sha Tsui is the largest outlet in Hong Kong after its other outlets at IFC Mall in Central and at Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay.

Enjoying the ease of doing business in Hong Kong, Rue Madame plans to continue to base its regional headquarters in the city.

Rue Madame’s mission is styling every client in Parisian fashions without betraying their own personalities.
