DC Shoes opens in Jakarta

Quiksilver Indonesia – in partnership with PT Gagan Indonesia – has opened the first DC Shoes concept store in Jakarta at Plaza Indonesia.

The new concept store shows off the full range of DC Shoes skate, BMX, surf and lifestyle products including t-shirts, walkshorts, jeans, caps, bags, accessories and the men’s and women’s shoes the brand is famous for internationally.

The pioneer of a long list of groundbreaking skateboard footwear technologies, DC Shoes mission has always been about making a significant change in all that they do and it shows in the cutting edge extreme sports products that they produce.

One of the fastest growing of the Quiksilver brands, DC Shoes is capturing the attention and loyalty of today’s urban sports market.

“We’ve seen the demand for our DC Shoes products grow tremendously over the last couple of years throughout southeast Asia, in Bali and now in the big cities here in Indonesia,” said Quiksilver SEA CEO Paul Hutson.

“In Jakarta with its huge population there is a pent-up thirst for the specialty extreme sports products that DC Shoes offers, so we are in a great position to be meeting that demand with our new concept store in Plaza Indonesia, together with our partner PT Gagan Indonesia.”

PT Gagan Indonesia and Quiksilver have partnered to open six retail stores throughout Java, including in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung.
